Almond-Coconut Smoothie

Immunity Support

Ingredients

  • ⅛  cup coconut milk 

    1 cup almond milk 

    2 tablespoons almond butter 

    4 medjool dates, chopped

    Dash or two Cinnamon 

    1 teaspoon flaxseed 

    Water to thin as needed

A delicious and nutritious smoothie is a great way to fuel up for the day or reboot in the afternoon. Added bonus: this smoothie is prime for fall. East meets west as familiar ingredients are chosen to match the efficacies of Chinese herbs in the DAO formulas. 

Here is a favorite combination of nuts, dates, milk and spice.  Almond milk gives a great anti-aging boost and coconut milk has a good kind of fat that metabolizes quickly.  

Almond butter is a nice change of pace from regular peanut butter and is a great antioxidant. Buy a brand with the fewest number of ingredients and the least amount of salt.  

Procedure:

Mix, and blend in blender until smooth
